The design –touch- reduces the interaction between the analog book on the one side and the digital content on the other side to the control of intuitive finger movements.
What is the core principle of your idea?
Reading is particularly known to demand a child’s attention. To facilitate this process children use their own finger in a manner which prevents them from getting lost in the text and to ensure that they stay in the correct line. -touch- not only enables a touch gestures control, it also makes scanning an easy process by just touching the code in the book with the device.
Can your idea be applied to different formats (in a bookstore, at a trade fair, at a conference)?
Would it be possible to turn your idea into a reality, or at least create a prototype of it, at short notice, i.e. by the Frankfurt Book Fair in October 2014?
What do you estimate the costs for the prototype or the final implementation of your idea to be?
