Turn not only pages, but the heads of the readers as they dive into the mind and world of their favourite authors. At home, infront of the shop window or when taking a glance a new novel. Create spaces especially for exhibitions that change weekly/monthly to catch the interest of the customers. Be able to tell more than just about the written word with the deepest insights into the creation of the novel.

What is the core principle of your idea?

Books, magazines and articles are all products of authors. Why not let them become the connection between the digital and the real world? Exhibit facsimile based on the original author´s notes. Show prominent pieces from the novel. Reveal background information only the author can provide. Gather on one cabinet for exhibitions, or let the customer pay for a subscription to let him enjoy the author´s world right at home.

Can your idea be applied to different formats (in a bookstore, at a trade fair, at a conference)?

Except for conferences, where this approach might rely to heavily on time to let it sink in, everything is possible.

Would it be possible to turn your idea into a reality, or at least create a prototype of it, at short notice, i.e. by the Frankfurt Book Fair in October 2014?

Undoubtedly.

What do you estimate the costs for the prototype or the final implementation of your idea to be?

Costs depending on authors giving insight to their workspace, designers creating the props and the facsimile, a simple cabinet for showcase and the choice of materials.
