Get a taste of this!
Choosing the right book is a matter of taste. So experiment with your taste!

For events: use welcome (healthy) snacks for the walking visitors. Like apples and bananas with stickers. Get a taste of Eragon / Get a taste of Dan Brown / ... Or: Use tea. It represents peace and enjoying a moment. So it goes perfect with reading a good book. Open up a (free) teaspot where visitors can relax, drink tea. Use the labels for the e-books. For the stores: Sell the tea (lot's of different flavors), and tease your customers with new books or nice discounts. Or drink it on the spot.

What is the core principle of your idea?

It's simple, cheap, positive and totally unrelated to digital content. It's only related to tired and hungry event-visitors and it's related to tea, that fits perfectly in a bookstore.

Can your idea be applied to different formats (in a bookstore, at a trade fair, at a conference)?

Yes sir.

Would it be possible to turn your idea into a reality, or at least create a prototype of it, at short notice, i.e. by the Frankfurt Book Fair in October 2014?

Also, yes.

What do you estimate the costs for the prototype or the final implementation of your idea to be?

It depends on the scale. Make a deal with tea or fruit companys and you pay for design, packagings and logistics.
