Barcode stripes always intrigue and inspire me. I tried to combine digital and hand drawn ‘barcode’ stripes with bold hand drawn florals, which shine through the digital barcode stripes. In the background a textural all-over pattern of the hand drawn barcode stripe variation.
My work is well organized photoshop file. The illustrated floral was made up as a vector-file and added as a smart objects, which means that any changes in size and/or color of the floral are easily to realize. The background layers are all made of adjustments layers and smart filters and can easily be changed. The file contains 8 colors.
I imagine my pattern working with modern and feminine fashion brands. Brands that offer elegant, feminine and unique clothing for any occasion.
The pattern size is (wxh) 70 x 64 cm at 300dpi and originally created in Photoshop.
