Very beautiful design, reminds the device from the movie "Men in black" Certainly 10!
Hi RK, Thank you very much! I also liked your design, very stylish and I hope will be honoured!
If your design is made, I am the first buyer!
The rendering is great!
Thanks rossi! This is my hobby and my life :)
Seems inspired in Phillip Stark! Amazing!
Thanks Viana! I like your slogan (Need Design to make me feel alive!!!) Otherwise my inspiration was an a stand lamp, but very-very honorific that my design is remind for Starck's iconic product!
Really like all of your approaches! Looking forward to your progress!
Hi artmannf, Thanks, I hope you like my updates!
Yes, inspired by Philipe STARK, but looks great:)
Does this mean that this woulnt work either? :P
The design is sufficiently different (i said inspired!) and the shape is unique to coffee machines and very eye-catching!:)
Hi guys, Thanks! My inspiration was an a stand lamp :) but very honorific that my design is remind for Starck's iconic product!
I really like this unusual, futuristic shape! Very original work! ;)
Thanks your words Tomaz!
This is my favourite design of you, absolutely great! Try to include in this shape all the functions that brief says , and it will be top class design!!!
Hi Evgeni, Thanks, good to read your words!
Luv your sketch :) !
Thanks Noizilla! :)
Rockets! Super interesting - waiting for more!
This is a great and impressive work! The shape is amazing and the image is very strong!
Thank you guys!
Yeah! I love it!
Looks super! Good job
Thanks AKA! Good to read your positive feedback!
has something of science fiction, looks interesting ;)
Loving the update. It's a bit more futuristic and less nature than the mood board suggested, but it works well! Why don't you move your last picture to the front, so people don't miss your update! Keep going, wanting to see how you implement the technique and where all the different parts are accessible (water tank, roasting chamber etc. pp.)!
Speechless. What an a-m-a-zing update!
Thank you Nathalie :) And thanks your advice too!
Eye-catching indeed. Looks quite unique! :-D
Thanks John! I wanted create a unique, easy recognisable form :)
Thanks Vladimir! I hope you like my updates too
This would go nicely with my juicer by Philippe Starck. :b
Thanks Paul! Honorific :)
Thank you Simone!
It looks nice indeed, but I really think it makes too much reference to Philippe Stark's thingy.
Outstanding! Awesome! Great! = )
Thank you very much Jesko! Good to read your feedback!
nice retro look .
Thanks P_03 :)
white version is totally good! I love it two times!
Thanks Evgeni! :)
This is an elegant design and I love all the color options shown. Very "War of the Worlds" and "Jetson's" vibe. Not sure how functional it would be as a roaster - but as a straight-up drip coffee machine it would be great. I'd buy one. I'm a sucker for that retro-spaceflight look, but I think I'd have to collect all the colors because I can't choose a favorite.
:))) Thanks Robert your feedback and good words! :)
one of my favourites
Thanks Ionut! I hope you like my updates
great renders, but only one thing, the base is very fragile and unstable to be too high it may fall at any time and we do not want accidents, :))
Hi Maria, Mexico? I hope I can go there, because this is my favourite City! Otherwise thanks your feedback! The centre of mass, and the position of legs are can help to be this stable! But if you have any idea, how can I make it more likeable and usable, feel free to drop me a line ;)
This is so cool..=)
Thanks Samantha :)
Your Sputnik is landing in my heart ;-)
:)) Thank you Sibylle :) I like your comment :) ;)
Great! Nice colors...
This looks very good
this really is an outstanding visual design :)) Like it a lot to look at it. To fit all the components in it you need to "pump up" the volume, don´t you think?
Thank you Dahu! I hope you like the update too! I read the linked article of your portfolio site (Like a penguin)! This is a really interesting and great article!
yes good update :) Cool das Du den Artikel gelesen hast. hast Du auch das Video gesehen? Der Artikel war ja nur eine kurze Eileitung ;)
Really good design!
WOW! Nice design, nice concept! I like it very much!
Love the colors!
Thanks Ana! Good to read your feedback!
One of my favorites!
All your proposal are great! Imo this is the best ;D
Thanks Zerocents! Good to read :)
Philippe Stark ?!
Actually not... Roland Hangyel ;)
Agree with Hangyel ... and the reference to Stark was already discuss ... but all of us must have an inspiration, this doesn`t mean we have copy something. From my part ... ten stars.
that was my first impression, except legs everything is really great.good luck
Thank you Stefan! Good luck to your Harley!!
very creative! I like it!!!)
Thanks Ferdinand! :)
very interesting idea and nice render!
And thanks again :)
Super! coffee from Mars ;P
Thank you Ilarka! Coffee from a new galaxy, CoffeeWay :)
MHm...the style is great......I like the white machine....I'm curious about your updates. Good luck! :)
wow! I love the concept and design, well done! :)
Really Nice design man!
How are you gonna make sure that the pot is always in the right position and how would your drip stop work to avoid a mess on the table? You should have a further look into what grinding and roasting methods are supposed to be used from the briefing to make sure to fit them into you machine. Looking forward to the final steps!
Nice futuristic work. Unfortunately we have got some issues which are not clear yet. Let me get to the point :
Please focus that there is a possibility to remove the water tank sidewards.
We will build a none automatic coffee machine, that means filter coffee. Please have a further look at our briefing.
How you will make sure that the coffee pot is fixed under the drop ?
Keep an eye at that the possibile housing price should not exceed 100 bucks.
Thanks your feedback!
I uploaded few sketches about the water tank and the smoke filter remove process.
Indeed, this is a non automatic coffee machine design. I tried to put tone to the unique, or maybe ‘iconic’ shape which is meet with natural materials.
I have a favourite quote “If you analyse the function of an object, its form often becomes obvious.” (Alexander Porsche) and I try to make my designs aware of it.
The pot will have special handle shape which can help to put to the right position. I also designed a special but very simple drop-stop system. When you put the pot under the Caffee maker, the switch will automatically turn off and let to flow the coffee, but when you pull out, the switch then will turn off and the drops can’t drop to the desk. This is absolutely mechanical, you don’t need electric control.
I used just few, easy producible parts then will the cost is very low. Otherwise I understand your standpoint and if you like other modification, or idea how can I make this product more likeable or useable feel free to write me.
Beautiful sketches hangyel!!
Please have a look at Jergus input, would love you to consider his points and try to implement them in your design!
no words!!! :]]]]]]]]]]]
Beautiful indeed, but I'm afraid you are not acomplishing the task. We coming up with a design for their mechanism, so try to adapt it to your design.
Very intriguing shape, but I don't think that the entire tehnical mechanism would fit in at this dimensions.
perfect sketches!!! i love the shape. like a spaceship! love how its standing on feets! this is my fav
Where is the requested watertank, filterunit, engine, raw beans tank, etc??? I only see a design, which is nice by the way..
I also think the technical parts are just too big for this design. You can not assemble any part in the feet so every technical part needs to be in the body. This means that this machine becomes very, very high.
"Where is the requested watertank, filterunit, engine, raw beans tank, etc???" Try to look all slides again! Thanks!
I still do not see them (you mean slide 10??) These parts are completeley different than the parts from the briefing everybody uses...
Okay, I will make another slide, which is more understandable
Aha I see the sketch now.... Do you any idea of sizes?? And also the most interesting view is off course the top view , not the sides..:-) Because in the side views it is visible that the heater is hanging at the back of the coffee can
. So I am really interested to see if you can keep the round shape. Maybe it will also look nice if the shape was more elliptical to the back??
alessi zitronenpresse ?!
I like all your proposal, but I don`t see how the technical mechanism would fit inside of them.
wowow,, congrats bro, you make it cool shape like in Man In Black!
Nice inspiration on Philip Starck, the result is beautiful
!!!! fantastic design !!!!
Very very bautiful renderings and some awesome work, Roland!
To get some inspiration is imho very important... and why not getting it from the best? ;)
I even like the drawings... they are pretty amazing!
What a very detailed project - gr8 work!!! :))
astonishing renderings and great concept!
i just dont really understand how big it is.
it would be awesome as an espresso capsule machine (=nespresso)
best mood in my opinion ! :D Good luck !!
looks like a alien, Nice work
aesthetically looks very good
I am not sure about the functionality!!
either way good luck for the final ranking...
Doesn't fit the technical requirements.
Looks good. Makes more sense than Juicy Salif anyway. :)
great presentation man
Nice idea and sketches )
nice design on paper , good luck @@@
definitely a different coffeemaker
Where have I have already seen this shape before? :P Good job!
Super proposal, Roland, big congrats.
Great work, Roland and very happy for you to make it!!! :))
Congratulations for the win and for the awesome design:)
