This is an espresso machine design. Which is nice but maybe you have the chance to think about a filter coffee machine design?
Best log style coffee machine I've seen so far (never knew that was a thing). Really like the design and the placement of the display/interface. But like others have said, BV is filter :)

And... it's a filter machine!! Great updates, love it! Would a machine consisting of that much wood really be producible under $100 though? And how can you take out the filter drawer if it doesn't have a handle? Does it pop out once you push it?

I like it a lot , but I think it is a pity that the 3D technical parts from the briefing are not visible in any rendering, would be very easy to do. I can see that the parts would fit so there is almost no reason not to show the mechanism inside..

Yes , that is the only thing. :-) And maybe a lot of (expensive) wood and I was wondering how you would produce the coffee can
