The DB Lab - an INNOVATION HUB! I've made a word play from the two terms and the result was : "hubInno" a playful, modern and catchy word, suitable for the "DB Lab". The logo is minimalistic, recognizable, very dynamic, playful and modern nevertheless and underlines the name in a subtle, smart way.
