Could you tell us where the name "nidus" came from?
In your visual you are using a lot of elements - I would definitely reduce them: different colors and all of these lines are too much imo: they make the design unsettled.
Of course, the name "nidus" comes from "nest" (the previous submission :-) )
"nidus" like I said in the idea summary came from nest word:
Nidus: "a place in which something is formed or deposited; a site of origin."
I go to make a cleaner version, remove the lines from text and probably change some colors.
You are very upset with my ides name. Like I said in the answer I did not have any intention to copy your name. So to finish with your upseting state i want to delete my idea.
Dora please, how I can delete my idea?
If you want to delete an idea you can ask the project guide to help you > so yes, that's me. I could do that for you.
BUT: I have to say that I don't think that there is an issue with it. It might be that the meaning of the word is similar to another one in the project - but still it is very different. A different sound, a different word, a different look : a different brand.
@ NarcissusIllu : do you agree that overall this submission is unique and not a copy of yours? In fact I just checked to see how much time passed by between the 2 uploads, to say that it's very unlikely that someone came up with the idea and implemented it within X minutes. I just realized that Marguis uploaded this idea 1 hour before you uploaded yours?
Now I am really confused why you are upset! ;)
Okay now I see you have more ideas using the word nest. But really? As I said: the 2 ideas are like really far from each other imo!
One hour before????? !!! :-O Not after? I've seen it just after I've uploaded mine (it is displayed next to mine, after me)... Anyway, It's unclear to me why... I've been working on the "RAILNEST" for more than one week (sketches for the logo and brainstorming for the name). Be it so as you say. @Marquis be it so, let the show go on :-) !
I'm cool, thank you for clearing that up!
woo hoo (: THX for your reply
Thank you Dora for solve this situation.
It seems you've translated my name idea, literally ! :-) From English to Latin, shortly after my submission... ;-)
I have already developed this idea at some time a go, but isn´t my intention to copy or translate the name "nest" to "nidus" like you said :))
The idea is use the "nidus" world meaning, but also translate the name to an extensive interpretation: nid (need) us. So the intention is create a symbolic and strong name with significance to the DB lab identity and create friendly interpretations. ;))
What a "coincidence"! :-) The logo is made in a jippy (very rapidly and rudimentary).
Bye and good luck!
Ummm - Guys!
I would say let's just close this discussion and focus on constructive criticism, ok?
I won't press charges further :-))) I'm cool!
Glad to hear that and thanks for your quick response too! :)
