Gem colored leopard | Flow through bamboo | End of summer, coming of fall. Violet, high chroma yellow and green-gold mix with softer greens and earthy browns on a pale background to transition from summer to fall.. Jagged animal "spots" suggest movement and suggest the animal moving through the bamboo in an abstract way. Vertical lines of bamboo are slenderizing; the animal "spots" and bamboo from afar, almost like Chinese long-stemmed roses.
Animal prints are big in the fall and being shown on the runway for 2015. Here, the mix with a Chinese motif of bamboo makes for an interesting and very wearable summer-fall transition fabric. One could wear this toned down with light colors for a still-hot day or with dark accessories to warm it up. Deep violet, high chroma golds and green look nice against the skin and match gems in jewelry to be worn with clothes made of this fabric.
