Solution

Blossom trees are the essence of chinoiserie murals, and here I've created an asymmetrical placement/border print that flows across an evening gown. The colour palette balances sombre blue tones with vibrant pinks and golds. I've reworked the design to soften both the colour palette and the overall composition to create a more gentle aesthetic.

Why does your design stand out?

The design is modelled in 3D, rendering a unique hyper-real finish. Its a futuristic take on 18th century chinoiserie.

Which kind of brands do you imagine using your design?

High street fashion favourites like Zara and & Other Stories. High-end floral aficionados like Christian Dior, Giambattista Valli, Elie Saab, Valentino.

Is the design 100% created by you or is there anything we should know about any third party material used?

This is 100% my own creation.
