Solution

The elements I created using mainly watercolour and pencil. I used a variety of different Chinese inspired blooms such as magnolia, cherry blossoms, bamboo, roses and orchids. I try to combine the soft floral feminine shapes with the harsher lines of the temple.

Why does your design stand out?

The design stands out become of the fusion between the looser lines of the florals and the more traditional temple elements in the china blue hues, the design works on a lot of different base colours there for could appeal to a variety of clientele.

Which kind of brands do you imagine using your design?

High street to slightly higher end.
