Imperial Garden is inspired by Chinese classic floral painting and royal female gowns from the Qing dynasty. Peony is a symbol of prosperity and wealth, it it one of the frequently portrayed subject matters in Chinese classic painting, it is also favored by female royalties as embroidery on their gowns as a status symbol. The colour palette is rich and vibrant: Porcelain white, Mid-night blue, Imperial gold and Jade green, each palette takes its reference from traditional Chinese royal gowns.
