This hand- drawn design of flowers, edges the bottom of the garment. It leaves the rest of the garment just coloured so the eye is drawn to the pattern around the hem. The idea behind it is quirky flowers in harmony with the sky above with pollon floating on the breeze. The main design features feminine tones, keeping it light and fresh. Whilst the alternate colourways delve into blue tones playing with depth and light.
The contrast between the images and background really make the eye focus in on the row of flowers. Yet due to the simple style of drawing and the fact that it is not an all-over repeat; the pattern is not overwhelming. The designs are suitable for both day and evening wear; in particular the deep blue design gives a simple yet sophisticated feel for an evening dress. Whilst the original design is a delightful addition for those festive daytime events like baby showers etc
