This minimal design emerge from a vision of a watercolor Asian garden surrounded by a light fog one October afternoon. I tried to express the mixture of watercolors on paper and blue ink in fine and loose lines evoking a peony flower from which are flying away little birds. I focused on clean lines over a diffuse background palette inspired on pastoral paintings and hand painted porcelain.
This design is minimalist and modern, it can fit in any confection pattern because the center of attention, the peony, can be shown in every possible angle and scale and it´s petals and blue touch mixed with the delicate watercolor like background never loose itself into the pattern overcharging it , keeping the minimalism and elegance.
Carolina Herrera, as a Venezuelan I feel so proud of her and it will be a dream come true to see my design in one of her dresses. I also have an extensive list of Designer that I admire like Vera Wang.
