Solution

I have been inspired by colourful traditional Chinese paintings, particularly the use of flowers and birds. I also wanted to bring a lot of colour into my design. I think this is fun, fresh design providing a new take on traditional Chinese art.

Why does your design stand out?

Hand drawings combined with bright colourful paintings.

Which kind of brands do you imagine using your design?

Beach wear, possibly brands such as Roxy and O'Neil. I can see this on swimwear. Also this design could be used on a dress or would look nice on a kimono style jacket on brands such as Topshop, River Island and H&M.
