This is my solution to be happier, inspired and motivated, to overcome personal fears & change yourself to be a better person. The idea is simple, you can have a goal small or big, you set it before yourself, and declare to the world that you are doing it, and in the next week you set a micro goal, which you need to archive. The world (your friends and people, that you may not even know) bet on your success (currency that can only be earned by reaching your personal goals, or betting on others)
In summary, what is your “Made on Coboat” project idea (max. 3 sentences)?
I'm working on this for a year now, and I need a push to launch it and put it out there in the world. I want to make a team, of like minded people, that would help me to reach success. I believe this projects must be publicly owned (otherwise it will "own" people, that are using it) so after project succeeds I would like to gradually transfer ownership to the people, that are using it - digital democracy.
How much of your project can you realistically achieve in 100 days if you will get the chance to stay on the Coboat?
I hope to launch and reach 100'000 users.
Will you complete this project on your own, or will you be working with a together with a team?
I need to start working with others, tendency to do everything by myself limits me & my project growth. I want to have a distributed team by the end of the project.
Why should your project be chosen?
I'm doing it anyway, so you can choose someone else :) I might even be sea sick, for all I know.
What does this project mean to you?
I'm working on it for a year, but keep postponing it's start, and changing everything until perfection is reached, which is never the case. It's a project, to keep me and help others to stay on positive side of things.
Why do you want to do this project?
It sounds like fun.
Have you used any third-party material? Even if you've modified it, please ensure you source the original here. See FAQ for details.
I'm using 3rd party APIs which are Apache LICENCE 2.0. But I think this is not what you are asking :)
Please tell us a bit about yourself and your professional background. How do you fit into a team? What have you done before within the field of your idea?
I'm a software developer with tons of experience, and it happens that from may I have 2 remote jobs, which is why I decided to travel, while I can. June to August I cycled in Europe from Amsterdam to Toulouse (France) 3000 km, while keeping my 2 jobs and working 200 hours a month. I'm starting my next adventure in October (No idea where yet). I lost 50 kg in 5 years, but still have problems talking to women.
