Coboat bring a new vision of working. It gives the opportunity to meet new people, and a chance to find great professional relationships. And it's not just about digital nomads, it's also about the crew, the people behind the scene making a dream come true. There is so much to discover, so much to talk about, so much to share. I will try to put on tape all these moments that make Coboat a must.
In summary, what is your “Made on Coboat” project idea (max. 3 sentences)?
The primary idea is to show and explain what is the Coboat experience. How people connect, share, and work together, in a short amount of time. The coboaters, the crew, the wind blowing to the sail, a project taking off, a meeting, a storm approaching, everything from the bottom of the sea to the highest point of the boat will be on tape.
How much of your project can you realistically achieve in 100 days if you will get the chance to stay on the Coboat?
I will capture everything I can days and nights, while compiling all the footage here and there. Work will slowly go from capture to edit until the end. The documentary will be finished by the end of the trip. It may require further involvement afterwards to promote the film and increase its visibility. This may be the creation of a website, submission to festivals...
Will you complete this project on your own, or will you be working with a together with a team?
I will be on my own, but the project will be achieve by everyone. It is all about Coboater and crew working as a team and having a great time together.
Why should your project be chosen?
I think it's a good way to show the vision and mission of Coboat, and also what people think about it. There will be no better place to catch this multi-cultural sharing moments.
What does this project mean to you?
Professionally, it will be a new challenge to take on. Personally, I will fulfill my passion for boat, and what a boat! This is the perfect combination.
Why do you want to do this project?
I love to create new stuff, and this project will give the opportunity to create something meaningful.

Please tell us a bit about yourself and your professional background. How do you fit into a team? What have you done before within the field of your idea?
My name is Fabien, I am a motion designer and art director based in Montreal. In the last ten years I've worked on different projects from motion design and 3d in advertising first, to feature films and live shows later on. I love doing what I do and I’m lucky enough to work with brilliant people. The "Made on Coboat" project is a new opportunity to express myself through images. There seems to be no end to the possibilities of creating something new!
