I would like to research existing and new ideas of personal habit development that are scientifically supported, with the intention to structure a simple and easy to follow module based programme to help others improve areas of their lives that they are not at ease with. This would focus on building basics (such as nutrition, meditation, fitness, emotional intelligence, values, environment and much more!) that would help build (or bring back) basic foundations for enjoying life in a busy world

Why should your project be chosen?
There are many 'personal improvement' programmes out there, but a lot seem to be complicated and in-depth and thus time-consuming. How effective are these in todays busy world? I would like to create something that is structured, simple, and scientifically supported, and ultimately easy to follow (and maintain!) by someone who already has a busy life. I am very confident that some simple habit changes could help and benefit people. It has worked for me, and I think I can share this.
What does this project mean to you?
This project would be an opportunity to pull together my own experience and knowledge on the topic of learning and development and personal growth. It would be a chance to research and better understand the current tools and techniques as well as future thinking in order to create something that could improve or help others in various aspects of their life. It would be both a personal creative challenge, and a chance to give something back from my own learning.
Why do you want to do this project?
I have spent the last 8 years working in learning and development roles, and have had a growing interest in personal development / improvement / growth for even longer. This project would be a chance to pull together my experiences personally and professionally and create something useful for others to follow using a Structured, Simple and Scientifically supported programme that could be maintained in a busy world. This would be both rewarding personally, and beneficial for others.

Please tell us a bit about yourself and your professional background. How do you fit into a team? What have you done before within the field of your idea?
I have 20 years corporate experience, the last 8 years have been spent in Learning and Development based roles. I have completed high level book research on this topic, and have a ever growing interest in personal development and now writing! I recognise the importance of a simple structured approach in a busy world. I am very comfortable in team based working environment, having spent the last 20 years working across a large organisation in which team working is required to achieve results.
