an unique, hand-made, knitted hat/scarf/sweater, which was made just for you by some nice granny - using eco-woll (yarn). Major part of the earnings stay in the pocket of this granny, giving her a feeling of giving something and enabling her to have a decent life - paying the bills, food, living. Supporting their social lives and educating them about the advantages of the technology. There are lots of other questions to be answered and work to be done - all of it duable in 100 days on.

In summary, what is your “Made on Coboat” project idea (max. 3 sentences)?

Project made by digital-nomads and freelancers - giving an opportunity to the most vulnerable people (elderly, disabled) at risk of poverty! A practical and easy way for everyday people to be involved in charity. Making it a sucess with help of Coboat, the recognition and publicity!

How much of your project can you realistically achieve in 100 days if you will get the chance to stay on the Coboat?

  • search for co-workers
  • prepare a webpage
  • get ready a CROWDFOUNDING campaign
  • get samples of the materials
  • do a preliminary application for the EU Social funds
  • get publicity and recognition
  • learn to knit

Will you complete this project on your own, or will you be working with a together with a team?

If a day would have a year and I all the knowledge of the world I wouldn't to it by my own. This is a project with an aim to also promote the "digital-nomad" lifestyle. An inspiration for digital nomads with a possibility to get involved into the project realization.

Why should your project be chosen?

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. I could say this is a part of the philosophy behind this project - helping others to make a better living. Asking for arguments, not just sweet words... so be it: - knitlancers is planned to be an ongoing project not just a "lets have some fun - onetime" thing.

What does this project mean to you?

Lots! Everything in life happens with a reason and getting an opportunity like that I would do the maximum from it. I want to prove there is a future for digital nomads and opportunity also for those who are not tech-savy, poliglots, programmers or super-something. For me personally and a prove to others this project would set an example how the world could work if there is a clear vision behind an idea and if people are cooperating.

Why do you want to do this project?

Because I can do it. I want to built a better tommorow, help the eldery people that build the world we are living in. To thank them and to let them know they are important! Also making it and addressig the younger population - to give them an opportunity to present and prove themself to the world.

Please tell us a bit about yourself and your professional background. How do you fit into a team? What have you done before within the field of your idea?

Friends would say I'm an avanturist, I would add I'm also an entrepreneur by heart&soul. To my persona: love sport, optimist with sense for humor, easy going but demanding at work, flexible and adaptable. I love to be surounded with creative and open-minded people with real live experiences...not just from reading books. Was living 24/7 in a car with a friend in Los Angeles for 3 Months without a single conflict...so 100 days on a boat doesn't sound so harsh.
