While growing up on the countryside, nature was the main element that brought me peace. Moving into a city made me realise how fast humans tend to lose connection to nature and how important it is to somehow bring it back into our lives. Therefore; this sunflower field represends nature - we brush our teeth daily, so why not bring a bit of beauty into our everyday routine.
The visual represents a sunflower field, painted on a light green canvas with a slight yellow undertone. Each flower was painted individually, making them unique. Colours used for sunflowers are variations of orange, brown and green.
Green handles represent the stems of the flowers, and the bristles resemble the top of the flower.
My name is Iza Novak. I am a student from Slovenia. Art became a part of my life two years ago and I have been trying to incorporate it into my everyday life ever since. Nature is a work of art created during the development of the Earth, and spending time in nature has many positive effects on human well-being.
