Organisations have incredible talent in their organisations! Everybody has not only its own superpowers, skills but also knowledge in their field. From knowing how to create a great pitch deck to how simply organise and structure the day more efficiently. Everybody has something he or she knows best.

Unfortunately those skills and knowledge are not shared among each other. Let's change this!

Conclusion

Let's exchange 30 minutes per week among each other and offer our colleagues the chance to learn more about one of our superpowers, skills or knowledge. In exchange we receive 30 minutes of their or anybody elses time in our organisation.

The colearning rule is simple: I offer 30 minutes and receive 30 minutes of colearning from any other colleague in the organisation.

This not only helps us to learn more but also get to know each other better.

Solution

Let's exchange 30 minutes per week among each other and offer our colleagues the chance to learn one of our amazing superpowers, skills or knowledge. In exchange we receive a slot with anybody else in our organisation. Bookable via the intranet or a special app I can see everybody's skills and availability. I can book my slot or queue.

Important: As there is only one slot per person per week it might take a bit of time to schedule my meeting with a very inspiring person like the CEO ;-)

How would you stage or advertise your hack?

Let's face it! This is something the CEO would announce and than would be rolled out on the Intranet. Poster in the organisation might help creating the adoption of the program going.
