BASIC CONCEPT
 Using the hermit crab as a symbol, our main aim is creating a community of travelers, where shyness is overcome and communication and sharing are encouraged. The goal is to create a feeling of belonging to a special group of people that share not only the same space ( the hotel or room they inhabit) but also the same high quality traveling experience .
    THE CLAIM
�Come out of your shells with Me and All Hotels !�
this slogan alludes to the behavior of the hermit crab; which inhabits many different shells in a lifetime.
it encourages guests to come out of their room and try new things like meeting people and seeing the city.

THE MASCOT / LOGO
The Hermit Crab is a perfect mascot for a business based on temporary accommodations. It�s way of life reflects the spirit of finding living spaces previously occupied by another.

    
THE SHELL AS A SYMBOL
Shells can become a symbol for the hotel brand itself, but most of all for the room the customer uses. It is associated with comfort, protection and security and when combined with the hermit crab way of life it becomes a common good and the main reason why guest are encouraged to share � before check out, guests can leave messages for all future occupants of that room(shell).

    WHAT OUR CLIENT WANTS AND WHAT WE SUGGEST
Me and All Hotels is a brand that puts a lot of accent on the technological benefits that they offer and try to implement  but also on means of communication between their guests themselves and them with the local community.  We see this as a virtual shell.  Guest are protected by the digital hotel services, just as the walls and roof over their heads shelters them from the wind and the rain.

The networking between hotel guests
We propose the use of both a website/network and an APP that would enable things like : online check ins, rating of your shell � room � that will come in handy for the ones who use it after you, advanced request for cleaning service or in-room meals, remote settings for the room temperature etc.

The networking with the city
The interactive multimedia multi-use wall that they intend to offer to their guests could use a complex system of image recognition, or/ and guest card recognition. With just the scanning of an image, map, guest card you will receive in 3D specifics on the landmark, area , person you are requesting information about.  The app will alert hotel guests when other guests are nearby inviting them to introduce themselves.

The networking of the hotel guests with the urban locals and, vice-versa
The above service and technology would apply for use in this situation as well especially in the common lounge, restaurant and bar � places where interaction is desired and comes more naturally.
