GESTURE RECOGNITION INTERFACE

The video screens in our lobby recognize international sign language.  Guests can stand in front of the screen and a hidden camera reads their motions and translates it into commands.  simple commands like "paint" and "photograph" are perfect beginner signs that anyone can use.  By making the paint gesture, users can initiate art mode in which they can draw on the screen  with body motions.  By making the camera gesture, a guest can snap their own picture with a virtual camera.  They can email themselves the photo by gesturing sign language letters from a chart.   Everyone will want one of these souvenirs and this will attract people to the me-and-all lobby.

Gestural interfaces are conversational and eliminate the need to hide content behind multiple menus.  Gestures can also be context specific, further improving command efficiency.  We also promote the teaching of sign language.
