over 7 years agoGreat Ideas! Happy to see this. But I have some operational questions: what do you think how we can handle the check-in when our guest check-in via diefferent credit cards? And we have to differentiate between "normal" guests and corporate guests. Corporate guests have individual booking procedures! How can you match person and profile? Do you have an idea? Looking forward...
"check-in when our guest check-in via diefferent credit cards?" - Maybe the Cloud would generate a userkey for your user profile and when you want to log in you will be asked for it and the credit card number. If you now have a different credit card number it would be only added to the regular user profile.
"And we have to differentiate between "normal" guests and corporate guests" - The cloud would have two areas, one for "normal" guests and one for corporate guests. And when you start the app you will be ask for your reason to check in "business" or "pleasure", if you choose one, the program would adjust it self to the guest.

Hi there... can't read the discription in german but by the photos and the icon I see you are doing a kind of facebook to hotels, please take a closer look to my HBOOK submition because my proposal is that and although these contest are very similar apraches, make sure you distance yours from mine thankxxx and good luck
No, my idea of a application should not be similar to Facebook. It acts like a cloud where everything is interconnected. This allows easy data exchange and comfortable working. Sure, it looks like a social network, but it isn't a kind of facebook for hotels and I read your idea and it is definitely different than mine, I have also considered how the cloud would work technically, and how the guest can log on exactly, etc.

over 7 years agoThis is a well organized concept. The only problem that I see is the problem of data security. The stored profiles are a very interesting management tool for many companies. Who controls the access to this data?
Thank you! I thought about this too, and I think the best solution is to let store and protect these profiles by the Deutschen Telekom, they also did a great job with thier own "Cloud"-Project. Another idea was, that in addition to the community-scouts there are also community-IT specialist who controls the access.
Hmm, eine App in der man gleich nach Kreditkarte usw. gefragt wird, glaub ich könnte ein bisschen abstossend wirken. Super Idee, aber wie kann man es "gastfreundlicher" gestalten?

Good project, the "connecting" part is simple and fast , like talking on the phone
You could beat the data security problem with a platform like Diaspora*, like in my concept - I think Telekom could ensure the secure implementation needed for advanced business purposes and improve and re-sell the service to another partners or hotel chains
