Here's what happened

Challenge

This beauty brand is a returning client and wanted to explore the Mediterranean with the jovoto community. For this new summer limited edition, a beauty brand was looking to feed that escapist in all of us and take us to the joyous and luscious Mediterranean coast, beaches, and island towns (or larger cities on the coasts) all on their chosen products' packaging design. In this second phase, the creatives were challenged to further develop their design routes based on feedback from the first phase.

Approach

The client chose four design routes they'd like to have further developed. These three creatives (one creative had two design routes chosen for Phase 2) moved onto the next phase because of their unique take on the challenge and the adventure and story their routes told. In this phase, they were tasked to further refine their chosen route but also to design a second route for the other fragrance and explain which design elements make their designs unique and on-brand.

Outcome

The creative team came up with a total of 10 ideas, many even multiple ideas for one fragrance, and bewondered us with their illustration style, quality, and storytelling skills. Three of the client's favourite designs moved onto consumer validation for further testing and jovoto's designs won the validation!
