The first step in finding help for depression is reaching out, like removing a mask.

Too often, whether it be because of social stigma or simply not realising that something is wrong, people with depression do not seek help. Cures and aid are available and work 90% of the time but are useless if the person does not seek them. This picture aims to draw attention to the fact that depression can be difficult to notice both for the person with the condition and those around them and to encourage views to realise that the depressed person may appear to be healthy on the surface.
