Solution

A design inspired by my trip to Rome. Marble was everywhere and signifies a strong sense of luxury, which is very much desirable in fashion.

Why does your design stand out?

My design stands out, as marble is a very strong trend in fashion and this print transforms well onto fabric. The colour way isn't garish, however remains interesting and is aesthetically pleasing. The design looks great either large or small scale and it is an interesting repeat. The contrast of the sharp and soft colours in the design adds depth and would work well across a broad range of categories e.g- dresses, tops, skirts, jackets etc.

Which kind of brands do you imagine using your design?

Calvin Klein, COS, Stella McCartney, Whistles, & other stories, PREEN.

How big is the repeat in your pattern? Keep in mind that it should be at least 64cm.
