Solution

The title comes from blue sky thinking which means thinking or out of the box and or planning far into the future which may or may not materialize. I chose that title because it's what a lot of us who struggle in digital spaces think or feel about it. My short film will be focusing mainly on two characters, Annabelle and Carlotta and [in the long version] will feature employees who will all represent different challenges we face when moving into digital void. Carlotta's mixed personality reflects a person who is in a dilemma with the digital revolution, Annabelle represents a leader that makes brave bold decisions to invest in creativity and value creation through people. The tagline Passion is infectious is inspired by Annabelle's actions that created a new digital leader, Carlotta who goes on to enable others become more digital savvy -like a chain reaction.

Please explain how your poster brings the idea of digital leadership to life?

My poster features Carlotta, the protagonist of the story. We can see that she's young, confident and has "character" as suggested by how she's acting on this particular image. She's normal like anyone but looks interesting and one would want to know more about her specifically how she became a leader. I chose not to feature any stereotypical digital elements because that can shy my viewers away from the film. I want it to look and feel organic as possible so it becomes relatable to my viewer.

Please provide a summary of your film script/storyboard:

Carlotta a junior Technology Assistant for Deutsche Bank, is haunted by what she thinks is her doppelgänger and discovers that she in fact lives in a parallel life where her true self is practically invincible. While at DB, she ended up landing a “to die for” opportunity to work with the socially anxious Annabelle, who happens to be Deutsche Bank's Top Manager of Digital Transformation who's sole purpose it to motivate all workers to become more "tech savvy".

What makes your film poster and script special?

I wanted my script and poster to be personal and approachable and fit into DB's context so the viewer is invited to study and want to know more about the film. The script goes in detail about her personal journey of learning and how through helping her coworkers she accidentally finds herself as a leader. This script shows how real change comes from within and the digital leader can act as an enabler.
