My idea is more a script- short film based concept rather than a 2D visual artwork.
An ipad – tablet screen is visible. An e-book is on screen and old hands are visible, they are trying to realize how it works. As seen from above as if the person who holds it is also the one looking at it and recording the scene . Moaning and strange human sounds can be heard (childs sounds resembling curiosity, surprise, anxiety) Young hands appear and shows with gestures to the old hands how you are supposed to turn the pages. Old hands start turning them but at some point the reflection of an old face is visible to the screen. At this point it is visible that the old person is licking his finger and then the hand and finger is visible while touching the screen trying to turn the page as he is used in doing for so many years (as if it was an old paper made newspaper). Details: on the screen it is discreetly visible the banks logo and the title of the book which is “Evolution” or “Evolution in banking” or “Future” or “Future in banking”….it could also be a digital e-newspaper with advert of the bank at some point and an article related to future and banking….
Next scene is a book sawn from above as if the person who holds it is also the one looking at it and recording the scene. The hands this time are very young, a childs hands. They are turning it around and upside down looking as if they are looking to find something. Moaning and strange human sounds can be heard (childs sounds resembling curiosity, surprise, anxiety). Old hands appear and shows with gestures to the childs hands how you are supposed to turn the pages and what is inside the book. Relaxed human sounds and full of understanding this time. Detail: the title of the book is….”back to the future” or “Past brings future” or “innovation” or any other feature that company wants to communicate.
Voice communicating the motto: “you need a past to have a future” is heard and perhaps written on the screen.
