The idea was to create triptychs that pay tribute to Colombian classic literature. This one is for Jorge Isaac's "La Maria".

On this specific one I wanted to recreate the emotions of the book's protagonist by fragmenting her in 3 pieces and overlapping the images on different parts of the book where the state of consciousness are reflected by the words of each page, the cuts of the images and the models attitude against the camera.

This is a 100% analog project. I made the transfers on a 1.887 copy of the book. The next step it's try to get the vibe from other books of this kind but I'm a little lost right now... I'm also looking for old books copies to continue.
