On some balconies, one does not have space for many plants, and others might make it difficult to hang a vertical garden. So I created the "mini greenhouse", a type of pot with two pieces of thin glass, one on either side of the rectangular pot. Each sheet of glass aids in the growth of the plants growing in the pot by increasing the sun light's concentration between the panes of glass. The thin profile of the mini greenhouse is perfect for growing vine-like plants, such as grape and tomato plants. The mini greenhouse, or whatever one might want to call it, can come in several different sizes to fit any balcony. It can encourage gardening even without a backyard. The glass panes can be easily slid out of the wooden pot for easy access to the plants growing inside.
