the chairs are concrete tile over a steel frame.  they weep water out of selected frame segments and it apprears that the chair is flowing water.  there is a hidden integrated basin at the bottom that catches the water and recirculates it.

i plan to use the water fall as a functional piece rather than just a decorative showcase.  it will chime every hour or display time on demand.  it could also be used as a stock ticker or substitute for the telephone ringer.
