How does your idea solve the problem?
The light is produced by solar panels fully integrated on the top surfaces of the main two capsules, which are water proofed and contain the rechargeable batteries and the LED lights system.
What's the benefit for the target group?
multifunctional unit - solar powered lamp, sun umbrella and USB device charger; environmental friendly, sustainable source of light; easy to disassemble and transport; modern and aesthetic design.
What could be the perfect event to implement your approach/object?
all day long events continuing to evening dinners and parties
How many guests can participate in your outdoor dinner?
it's perfect for 4 to 6 people
It is very good idea to unite more functions in only one product. Your idea seems to be very useful and practial, I belive that this would work in real life! Nice.
Thank you for the comment, Tondou! I'm really glad you like it! :)
Thanks a lot for the support, Arina! :) I appreciate it! :)
nice organic form! I would like wood instead of black. That would look softer and more natural :) ..or you also use different colours.. would be great :)
hey, sp29, thank you for your comment and suggestions, it's very nice. I'll update very soon and show the color combinations, there is wood and it looks very nice. I'm thinking of using wood texture on the base (the white part now), the top must stay black because it is covered with flexible solar panels which are mostly black and glossy. :)
So poetic!)
24h party! Protection from the cruel sunlight when you read a book with a frosty cocktail and romantique light for your evening wine. Yeah yeah yes! ;)
Wow, Borhes, your words are so inspiring for me! Amazing!!! Big thanks for the support! :))) And of course...cheeeeeers ;)
Gotta agree, this is a great solution. If this was on market I'd buy it. Very nice design and also very functional.
Yeah, first client! If this would be on market you'd get one for free ;) Seriously, thank you very much for the support, Platina, it means a lot! :)))
Thank you for the supportive comment, Bert! I appreciate your opinion a lot. Solar energy is something beautiful and people should enjoy it more and more often. Thanks again :)))
I like the functions of this but I'm not convinced by the design. It seems really cold to me.
Hey, Jess, thank you for your comment. I'll take this in consideration. :)
Very good idea! I like the use of solar energy. But the design reminds me more of a street light than for lighting the garden. And it looks like you need a concrete foundation for it. Maybe you could make it portable :)
Thank you very much for the compliment and the support, Daniel!
Hey Creativa, really nice concept. Thumbs up and ten points from cologne/germany :)
Hey, Tim from Cologne! ;) Big thanks for the support and great words!!! :))))
Practical, sustainable and environmentally friendly solution ... What else can the market wants :)! Great idea, Anastasia!
Hey, Mirjana, great to hear that! Thank you for the support! :)))
Hey, Paola! Thank you very much for the support! Slide 3 is my fav too! ;))))
I like the concept. However, I think the design needs a lot of work. Don't give up!
Hi and thank you very much for the feedback and encourage, HSeckler. It would be really helpful if you could be more specific about the design.. :-)
Shade + Lights= Great idea. Keep going it's a great concept I would certainly want for my yard. :)
Ah, thank you so much Anna! I'm really happy you like it :)
i love the picture the object gives...really cool design...hope you will make it;)
Thank you, forminvaders. :) Thumbs up for your project also, good luck! ;)
great idea the shade maybe larger and can be combined with some seating elements and a table
yeah, i guess, I'm working on an update, thank you for stopping by and commenting! :)
Interesting and nice concept, but it needs more work, especially regarding the appearance and the shade-giving function.
Hi RFBroekman, thank you very much for the comment. I also see that the shading isn't big enough and this could be taken as disadvantage but I'll work on that for my next update and I hope it will be much better. Best regards! :)
how about a floral shape with giant petals to produce more shade and be more garden oriented and lovely. Abstract big petals? :)
Hey, Anna, sorry for the late answer, I don't know how I missed your comment...Abstract big petals is great suggestion! :))) Unfortunately there is no much space between the two capsules of the lamp, that's how the hand fan idea came to me. I did a small update to illustrate it. There are so many options for individual designs and custom prints and of course the textile can be printed with beautiful abstract big petals! :)))) Hope you like it! :)))
Thank you for the lovely words, Vanja, I'm really happy you like it! :)))
Hey, Andrei, thanks a lot for the support!! Good luck to you too! :)
Wow, I'm really happy you like it! Thank you for the support, goforit!!! :)))
I like the concept. I think it could be stronger if the furniture was implemented into the design rather than a separate entity. It feels addititive where I think there was an opportunity to embrace the two into one multifunctional piece
Thank you for the comment, Bryan! I believe that the design of the lamp is very simple and unique and it could be matched to most of the existing furniture sets on the market. :)
