Thank you for your honesty Elina! Somehow, it looked a bit better in my mind... :S
I really like the idea and see what you can improve it. I look forward to your development!!!!
The shapes are very nice although, as Elina said, I'm not the biggest fan of the umbrella. It seems to lack the style of the rest of the design. Also, I would think about how to "lock in" the bits while it's all folded up. Looks like it would all shift and fall over during transportation.
Thanks Jess! I'll admit I haven't thought through the canopy as much as other aspects, but I'll be able to give it some more time soon.. along with the fastening system :)
Thanks very much Bert! I hope I can impress you further when I get to updating this :)
It looks very nice dan, but try and make the table look even lighter than it does now. Maybe even make a rendering with your kit in a car so that you can show it fits and that it`s easy to carry. good luck and looking forward to the development :)
Thanks for the tip Alex! I'm looking to remove some material from the sides especially so I'm for a design that blends in nicely with the slits for the half-lap joints - I agree that it looks visually a little heavy at the moment. And that's a great idea with the car render. Best of luck to you too :)
I'm sure you'll solve the (weight)problem. impressive idea...so far.
Thanks Andreas! I reckon I've done most of the challenging work. Now its time for the fun part :) And thanks for the love :D
Great and simple idea here Dan. Though, really do something about the umbrella. It adds kind of a bitter taste to the rest. Overall great! :)
Great idea! great portability, or storage capacity without sacrificing aesthetic appeal.
Good luck!
