Just a thought... how about spinning the "seat" forward and backward between chair and table? instead of detaching the seat and reattach for different configuration. Much less work. Although this strategy might affect stack-ability. Or might not. I wish I can attach a sketch lol. good luck!
Thank you for your comment :) This was my first plan to do so. But I decided to make this option as it is more compact. Option to turn I'm doing now (in working). I think this version of the chair is well suited for the beach. It turns out the place to hang towels and clothes.
