Here's what happened

Challenge

In this challenge, we are looking for ideas that give this brand’s window handles not only a new and innovative design but also the added value of being based on user-centricity to create a unique selling point over the competitors. While the overall favourite window handle is favoured by many of the brand’s customers, it is time to look for the next handle design to replace this brand’s legend. 

Approach

The creatives were … handling … the challenge with ease, delivering ideas entirely evolutionary but also some revolutionary routes that the client can use for alternate window handles and/or use cases. Following the first phase, two creatives were tasked to refine their ideas further in phase 2.

Outcome

The creatives impressed with their in-depth knowledge of industrial design trends, completely new product designs and their user-centricity. Three ideas are currently being prototyped for consumer testing.
