finds noch etwas zu unruhig mit dem tartan im hintergrund. vielleicht kann mans noch etwas absoften? ansonsten gefällts :)
ich stimmda zu, besonders im unteren Bereich könnte der Entwurf etwas mehr Ruhe vertragen...dort evtl absoften?
Ich würde den Tartan-Hintergrund auf deine andere Idee beschränken und mich auf die Sportler auf Tower-Bridge & Co. konzentrieren. Alles zusammen finde ich auch etwas unruhig.
Wow, this is beautiful! Maybe you don't present the whole skyline but just the Big Ben to make it calmer as the others suggest? You could also try it with sand, grass etc., maybe DERTOUR is going to make a series of it ;) Looking forward to your updates!
Klasse Idee mit den versch. Cover. Vllcht. funktioniert es auch, wenn Du ein Kombibild aus 4-6 Hintergründen, die ineinander verlaufen (Grass, Wasser, Tartanbahn ...) in ein Cover packst.
Great idea with those different background. I´d try out kaptn´s suggestion - then you could put them all on one cover. BTW I like the swimming pool BG best.
Hi, man. You are my favorite, but not with this work. I do not think that this work is bad, He is the best in the sea of similar works of other people who make souvenir postcard ... but only that. You should win this contest with the first version of tartan cover (no colored dots 'please' he was so nice graphic and conceptual). I am going to vote for him again if this is possible.
hey trajkovski, thanks for your opinion. The simple and clear tartan version is my favorite too. But let's see how the community and DERTOUR will decide.

I like this concept, if they would do a series of covers. I think you covered all the bases in the briefing and you have presented something unique in the aspect of having a series. Individually, each cover has the qualities of reminding us instantly of the Olympics (without using the "rings") as well as showing us that we're focused on London. Nice work. The only thing I don't care for is that the covers are very realistic looking, and I know this is a part of the idea, but if you could try for one a bit more abstract just as a comparison that would be cool... like based off a sketch rather than a photo quality? Does that make sense what I'm thinking about? Not sure if I'm using the right words!

Schöne Idee. Wenn der Kunde für die versch. Titelseiten eine entsprechende Papierveredelung einsetzt, wird es ein gelungenes Cover.
ja verschiedenen Papierveredlungen würden das schon sehr gute design noch besser machen....super Arbeit.
wär wirklich das Highlight. Bei einer Auflage von 250.000 ist das ja sogar realisierbar ... hoffe ich jedenfalls ;)

danke donner 9* sind super! mh, laut briefing ist es nicht nötig die Logos einzubauen. Werde aber mal versuchen die Logos in einer einigermaßen guten Qualität aufzutreiben und dann eine Variante erstellen.
tolle idee mit der haptik. da kann man nur hoffen, dass es hier mal einen kunden gibt, der das geld dafür investiert. daran scheitern ja meist leider die besten ideen. sehr schöne arbeit!

Nette Ideen, aber Thema verfehlt ich glaube nicht das es Kataloge gibt die Cover so schön wechseln können, Du hättetst vielleicht die Bilder einzeln hochladen sollen, wäre auch den anderen gegenüber gerechter da man ja nur 5 Ideen einreichen darf. Sorry
Dass es keine wechselden Cover gibt ist mir klar. Es handelt sich bei mir um eine Serie EINER Idee. Insgesamt wird es 250.000 Kataloge geben. Bei der Auflage sollte es möglich sein, eine Serie drucken zu lassen. Um den Wiedererkennungswert zu erhalten muss es sich dabei um das gleiche Grundmotiv handeln!

I think it's a good idea when you put all the covers together. But if you evaluate each cover in an isolated way, it's just too simple. And since the briefing didn't mention printing a series of covers, and also the reader will have only one book in hands, to me the idea looses a lot of power. In any way, the series idea is quite unique.
