Wind-Electric Pumping System, modeling and sizing
The present paper analyzes the operation of an Wind-Electric Water Pumping and your gearbox sizing.


The present paper analyzes the operation of a pumping system based on a wind turbine, a gear box, a permanent magnet synchronous generator, an induction motor squirrel cage and a  centrifugal pumps for water extraction.
The elements of the pumping system are modeled to analyze the transient and steady state behavior of the system.
An experimental prototype is implemented to emulate the system and validate the simulation results obtained.
The experimental results obtained were compared with the simulation results obtained to validate the model.
