The idea is collect 1cent (only that amount) per Berliner.


The idea is collect 1 euro cent. coin, for each resident or tourist to contribute to make improvements in the city and contribute for a better Berlin.

Berlin have 3.5 million people, so if each one contribute with one euro cent, this gone give a very nice amount. to be used for Berliners.

The campain:

Each month, there is a new collect campain promoted by Sparkasse, to an specific need: ex. Plant news trees in Prinzessinemgarten. All collected money during that month gone be applied in this action.

Next mount other  new campain, and so on.

The Sparkasse beyond organize the campain, also contribute with a percentage in final amount.

How people can contribute?

- Give an 1euro cent. when purchase something.

- Bank account transfer.

- Deposit your 1euro cent coin in a specific money box provided for effect.

The idea is directed for people. The Berlin city have lots of needs and improvements to be made.

This is a simple way to connect the community and the city at same level to solve their needs.

The Berliner Sparkasse, is the organizer and one of the contributor for the campain.

Which kind of people and how many of them will take notice of your campaign?

I think this campain is so simple and so simbolic, that any kind of people gone be involved .

How much do you estimate the annual budget for the implementation of your idea to be?

Depends what are the kind of projects that need to be solved. But I think if the campain gone be directed to solve small things gone be easy to implement and gone have lot of impact.
