An informal design for a house no one will ever build. Form follows function follows form.


The temporary shelter is erected in a paper construction. The form reproduces the natural conditions of this material. To stabilize the structure, the surface is sprayed with a final coating. The skin reacts on weather condition changes by adapting its color. Appearing as a forecast system blue is connected to darkness, red to heat a.s.o . The edge lighting works as night lighting.

What was the task for the work you show here?

A type of representative architecture to beautify cities by temporary buildings instead of boxes or huts.

What was your unique idea?

Using an uncommon material for an informal study can generate substantial and formal ideas to modify everyday conceptions.
