Set of patterns created to be the costume (abadá) of the Carnival group CocoBambu.

Solution

The Patterns is split in 3 different themes: Beach / Carnival / Pelourinho. Those 3 themes represent what's best in Salvador - Bahia. Each illustration contains specifc characters and monuments of the city.

What was the task for the work you show here?

Create 3 partterns, for the 3 days carnival party, with the same visual line , but also different between them.

What was your unique idea?

First I determined the theme, commemorating Bahia's culture. Then I made a research to illustrate the monuments, characters and icons according to their visual reality, but in a nonchalant and simple shape.

Is the work you present here originally and genuine made by you?

Yes.
