KangaROOS X Ollanski
12 anniversary urban art prints for KangaROOS
1/4

Solution

To commemorate their 35th anniversary I was commissioned by sneaker brand KangaROOS to create 12 urban art prints - one for each of their signature shoe models. Every item and detail in the images is made out of paper by me over a period of several weeks.

Printed versions of the images and all paper models will be exhibited in selected sneaker boutiques in Germany throughout the year.

What was the task for the work you show here?

The task was to create 12 unique paper craft art works that center around the 12 classic KangaROOS sneaker models.

Also, as mentioned above: printed versions of the images and all paper models will be exhibited in selected sneaker boutiques in Germany throughout the year so the task was to make the models as perfect as possible since they will be on display for many ppl to see.

What was your unique idea?

I came up with most of the image concepts and I created all the paper engineering work myself. Since I've been crafting since I was a little kid there is almost no post production in the photos and so what you see is what you get! For some for the concepts I had the excellent help of superstar photographer Ulrich Hartmann.

Is the work you present here originally and genuine made by you?
