This idea was inspired by the beautiful "Wien-style" architecture, the old postcards and old photos style of my city - Ruse, Bulgaria. At the end of 19-th century Ruse was the first most advanced city in the country. There were occured a lot of acts, banking, trade and business ideas, arts and ect., for the first time in whole country. The achitecture style in the town is "Baroque", inspired by the city of Wien, Austria. For that reason Ruse was called "The Little Wien" in Bulgaria.
What was the task for the work you show here?
The task was to make a old-time looking photos from my new, present photos of the city. Well, they are not so professional made up, but my idea was somehow to represent the history, one century ago, or to look like that time old... ;)
PS: In the small picture at the lower corner of every photo is the normal (present) view of the city.
What was your unique idea?
The beauty of the present Wien-style architecture of Ruse, looking like a century old.
Is the work you present here originally and genuine made by you?
All pictures are personally mine.
