I have been working with a very wide range of subjects but everything I do has one thing in common, color! Color is so important in your everyday life. Whether I do a sculpt or a painting I always think of the colors I use. My figures doesn’t have a super deep meaning to it. I just want people to feel warmth and happiness when they see my sculptures. I want to take my art from the high pedestal of a gallery and put them in a warm home.

Explain how and why you created this work. Was it for a specific brief, etc.?

I have felt for a while that something was missing in my swedish minimalist home. I started making a sculpture of a hare and used twisted string of fabric in all various colors and by doing that I think I have come up with an idée thats unique.

What were you trying to express?

Warmth and happiness
