A collecble plastic bottle, with a low price tag and a surprise object to share with your best friends. Amis brings in each of its seasonal collections the worlds of fashion, music and beauty with exclusively designed accessories, developed to stimulate bonding between friends. To make the bottle portable and interesting, it was made through injection-blow moulding in 100% recycled PET resin, a very unconventional material in Brazil’s fragrance market.
Explain how and why you created this work. Was it for a specific brief, etc.?
It was part of an innovation project with a still unexplored consumer target for Natura, a major cosmetics brand in Brazil: girls aged 9 to 13 years old. It's a highly nomadic target, who is always in movement, sleeps over her friends', has divorced parents, etc. It shouls also stimulate bonding and the simbolism between friends, the strongest emotional connection at this age. The surprise capsule is meant for collecting and exchanging, and is stacked on top of the fragrance.

Is it 100% your original work?
Product design and development, yes; graphic design, brand and pictures were made by the team at Tátil; the project was developed between 2012 and 2014. It was launched in March 2015.
