Visualisation of the logo, creation of a character and diverse applications of the graphics for the brand. This project was selected to be part of the BID 14 exhibition, Iberoamerican Design Biennale 2014, in Madrid Spain.

Explain how and why you created this work. Was it for a specific brief, etc.?

The commision was to create all the visuals for the branding, it had only the name and wanted the development of variety of applications for different products

What were you trying to express?

Take a Cake® is a multidisciplinary project, a creative space, they wanted a fresh image but with a bit of nostalgia, an inspiration from the 50's. Also, a charming character that would be part of the logo but suitable to be applied to different products and uses, like the main character of short stories, for example. This is a small project in development but is constantly creating new things.
