Solution

Black and white + orange Illustration using ink on recycled potato chips bags. I picked the used potato chips bags and I tried to do illustrations on top of the company logo, Trying to do always many different characters as I could without changing the logo. I used black ink on the bags trying to draw directly without too much sketches. I draw what I see on the logo and food stain, trying to give coherence as I advance.

Explain how and why you created this work. Was it for a specific brief, etc.?

It started out when I scribbled on one of the Arturos bags and find out that I could make characters from the logo. Since then I have tried to make many characters as I could. I put myself the goal to make 1000 illustration, Im still far from that goal but I have learned a lot ever since.

What were you trying to express?

I was trying to create as many different characters and illustration from a single mark as I could, but Ive also learned a lot from the illustration because they told me things that I didnt knew I thought.
