Observation

COVID-19 will leave us suspicious in closed spaces, especially those where people can focus simultaneously. This is the case of cinemas and theatres, which should delay their reopening until the pandemic has been controlled due to their closed environments and the little social distance that their assistants can maintain. Due to commercial needs, these entertainment spaces have their seats with minimal distances from each other, so the public could not maintain an acceptable social distance.

Conclusion

Without a doubt, the main drawback for these spaces is the distance of the seats from each other. The current separation is implausible in the context of a society alerted to the disadvantages of reducing the social distancing recommended by the health authorities. However, if we demand the separation of the seats, we will be reducing the total capacities and this would translate into significant increases in the cost of tickets.

Solution

Incorporate transparent "bubbles", that protect the spectators of volatile molecules that can be expelled by other assistants. Bubble Shield is a complement that is added to the seats and consists of a firm structure with a transparent cover. The structure is folding, which allows it to be opened or closed as many times as necessary. Bubble Shield DOES NOT interfere with line of sight. Bubble Shield is a safe and effective barrier against any volatile virus or bacteria particles.

Optional Big Visual

Bubble Shield consists of an articulated but firm structure with a flexible and transparent cover. The cover is folding to be able to use it when necessary.
