This society wanted simple logo which would show some class and gentlemanliness. It is composed out of acronym of society - DŠPK.
K is a bit more abstract (moustache) so it adds that wondering factor to it. A lot of our literature heros are known for their moustache, so you can say it become the symbol of theirs.
