We started working on some ideas for the competition, were definitely have a lot of changes and new ideas to add to it already but we wanted to get in the habit of uploading our progress and also get some useful feedback on what we've done.  

The primary idea is that you can create spaces only when they are needed.  To do this we chose not to simply use partitions but create dividers that also had a function in themselves but were still flexible enough so that Graham and other users don't feel constrained by them.

Couple of key ideas: movable sliding partitions, mirror ceiling to make the space feel larger, (though were still on the fence about this), apartment performance (improved insulation and overall energy efficiency), Spacial performance and efficiency.
